I don't have any gfx card heatsinks lying around :(. I have my old x1800 in there now and everything else is fine and dandy. I don't really want to take off the heatsink anyway as then I have the problems of void warranty/no rma ect. Could the card still be alive after cooking at that temp?

I had a similar problem with my epson c84 when i put in a new black ink cartridge. Nozzle check and cleaner didnt seem to help so i jsut kept doing it over and over until it started. Must have done the nozzle clean and check around 15 times :-/ but it got it working at least.
