Hi pesst I think your m2 connector may provide only 2 lanes of PCIe. To get the best out of your Samsung 970 EVO it needs 4 lanes. If you have a PCIe slot spare with 4 or more lanes, you could use a PCIe to M2 adapter. Regds, JR

Smoogels is right you can get an adapter card. In practice I doubt you will sense any change from dropping the video card to 8 lanes.
