I doubt that's the fault of the Apple TV, it's whoever is providing you with the sports content that is failing to do that in 4K HDR.

Reading those posts just looks like a spec sheet rundown against the two models (C8 vs C9), not much of a case for which one is / would be better. Just because the numbers on one thing are higher than the other, doesn't mean it has been implemented well.

I'd also recommend the PS3 controller, once it's linked up via BT it seems to work fairly well. Sadly most games that support controllers tend to assume you're going to be using a 360 controller, so the layouts aren't always spot on straight out of the box.

How's the network connection between the devices? Is the Apple TV connected with the ethernet cable or WiFi? If your WiFi router is a little too far away for the iPad, you could be getting issues because of that.

Used the magic mouse at work for a couple of months. Really don't like it. I actually went and got myself a touchpad to use, partly because I had become so used to the various gestures on it and I found the page back sensitivity quite annoying on the mouse.
