Well on the plus side my new Hawk seems to run cooler than the previous. Only hits 48°C whilst playing COD Black Ops, which doesn't appear to push the card very hard. Got it up to 64°C using OCCT under standard clocks/fan profile. I'm yet to try max clocks or any other tweaking. Anyone else...

Yes, I think I'll be leaving those alone then. I should probably not look at the prices of something after I've bought one. Hopefully the new one will clock better *fingers crossed*. :)

I've read somewhere that the card's port is V1.4 so it should work. I've seen right angle adaptors for full size HDMI, you might be able to find ones for mini HDMI somewhere. Or maybe a mini HDMI version of this with a mini > full size on the TV/monitor end...

Does everyone else's fan max out in terms of RPM at around 82% in AfterBurner? Mine does. To be totally clear, my RPM readings fluctuate between 4620/50/80 at 82% all the way up to 100% fan speed.

I received and installed the HX750 yesterday. It is auto switching and also interestingly the manual shows higher efficiency from the 240v supply as oppose to the 110v. Nice to know.

Try a program called Everest. It tells me what each of mine are. You can probably ignore TMPIN4. It's likely there's no actual sensor there.

I'd also go with an HD5850 1GB, Corsair PSU (probably Corsair TX 650W @ £81), and CPU cooler if you're still on stock.

I can't see that OCUK do less than 4GB kits of DDR3. Also their DDR2 range is quite limited now. You might be best looking for some second hand parts.

As CAT says really. There's plenty of life in that CPU if you've got decent cooling and overclocking options on that board. The graphics card is the main thing to hold you back whilst gaming here. What games do you play?

How about RAM, what do you currently have? So we're looking for Mobo, GFX card (5750 or 5770), probably RAM, CPU, CPU cooler if you're wanting to overclock, if not then stock cooler.
