They backtracked on a lot of the issue but the fee does still remain. It doesn't come in to play until you are earning significant revenue though which feels like a pipe dream most of the time
It probably does totally depend on the price, but I imagine it will be far more expensive than a few quid a year. How long will windows 11 be supported? What will 12 actually bring?
Always seems risky to update a BIOS, it feels totally random whether it performs better or worse afterwards. That being said with the security patches for CPU exploits it might be for the best to update
yeah it's a really brief window, but a really fun one too. One thing to say is that they don't have names yet so definitely interested if anyone has any ideas!
Usually the only thing that seems to actually be a deal on black friday seems to be TVs - often the price doesn't drop to the same level until maybe march in the next year or something. For PC Components it seems pretty meaningless - also remember if the extra cost is small you also get to use...
