Yes, it was new. I tried to get one in London last week. There were no new ones & secondhand they were £4k+.
I found one at a jeweller in Stratford-upon-Avon & paid RRP rather than the £5k that the dealers on the net want for the new ones they have.
Very happy.
As a student, on a train from Waterloo East to London Bridge I was challenged to see how many times I could go out of the train window, over the roof & back in the other side......
Interesting article in Saturday's Independent. Essentially arguing that saying he was king of pop, etc. but sidelining the rumours of child abuse, etc. is like saying Hitler was a great leader & the holocaust, etc. was just unfortunate.
Article went on to describe the alarm system in his house...
Yes - much better. I suggest if you do go for it get 'The Missing manual Converting to Mac'.
For me the best bit is I can stop reading e-mails/magazine reveiws/threads/etc. & thinking I'll get that new mobo/cpu/hdd/etc!
1TB.
I made enough to cover the cost of the imac, give or take!
I got the Air brand new from another forum for £850. Only problem is it is the US model so there is no £ sign on the keyboard (& I'm too scared to tell my wife I have it, so I only use it at work!).
Good job the Air is so...
I'm off to the Apple store in a minute to get my iMac.
I want to be able to run windows, but don't want to have to reboot. So which is best - Parallels or VMWare fusion?
Thanks.
Do we get any? I work for a University Hospital, so with my badge I can get the higher education discount, but I don't think there is a 'nhs' discount as such.
