My motherboard (Asrock z68 Extreme 4 and gtx 980 are fried.
My 2700k oc @4.6 and 16gb Corsair Vengeance DDR3 are probably ok but I have no way to test them.
Everything else seems ok as far as I can tell.
Its been a while since I really looked into upgrading as I was happy with my setup but I...
I bought a 32gig one as a present for someone to replace a first gen nexus 7. She better like it........ :)
Had it out the box and it does feel like quality.
Well she done this on Thursday, however on the Monday she had already dropped her Motorola G 16gb in water and it's fried. I've ordered her a new one ..... £150.00
I tried the rice and keyboard trick and it did draw water out but it's still not working. I have ordered a new one, managed to...
I did wonder about that, but I've had the cable disconnected and reconnected about 8 times now and always the same keys. I'll try messing about with the cable tomorrow night when there is daylight and I can see it better.
I stripped it and dried it out, it had quite a bit of water in it. It is working fine except for some keys not working. Its a Fujitsu Lifebook AH532 and the keyboard looks pretty much sealed so i didn't want to force it apart.

Any...

I don't think this dongle can do that?
At the moment I just plug my phone...
I've had a 2700k clocked at 4.6 from the day I put in 1.5 yrs ago.....never one problem with it. Pretty mild clock and it could do a lot more.
If it was my choice and I wanted to keep it cheap it would be a second hand 2700k as the performance difference after ocing is marginal/extra cost imo.
