Do we have an ETA for the 7800XT pre-orders?

Black mesh has just turned up with a delivery date in a couple days on a well known site. I've picked one up as a hedge to my OCUK order as we're not getting any updates regarding it.

I've had one on order from here since Jan with the hope that the European connection can maybe bag some units earlier, but it's not been fruitful so far.

Where did you hear this, I've been told it's not looking likely till mid to late April.

Be careful with the Asus boards, I had one on order but cancelled it due to issues they've had with the Intel NIC. Working with developing hardware and using the machine for work an anywhere near dodgy NIC was a complete no go. Now flirting with the steel legend x670e/b650e but I've been trying...

It's a minefield out there especially when you're trying to future proof. It doesn't help that there are next to no reliable sources for reviews out there, the normal media circles just seem to have ignored the whole situation; I assume as it's too expensive hence the majority don't care.

Sony probably don't make a profit on the hardware. They make the profit from game licensing and the cut they take from the online store.

Yeah, I love the idea of the card, but I'll eek out my rx480 a bit longer I think. Ninja edit, this was for the cards at 375+, I think the 330 was a good price.

I failed, add to basket buttons just kept saying no longer in stock, I reckon I was there in the first few seconds too. Probably the dithering over which model to try instead of just instaclicking every button on the screen :D

All received and working, helping to zip through builds a touch faster!

Just a shame about the Mon-Fri delivery, going to be a weekend of watching the clock :D
