Cleaning gear! consider a hurricane type blower (for sensor) and a lens pen for glass. Accessories are cheap in HK esp memory card. 2 batteries are plenty for me usually but if you need more maybe easier from say 7daysshop.com. Good luck. No buying or selling outside of the MM....

Having used a 20D and toyed with the 30D, the 40D is a big jump handling and IQ. Compelling jump for sure. Different league compared to 350/400/450 camera.

For photoshop use, track down Scott Kelby's book "Photoshop CS3 for Digital Photographers". It's superb and specifically for photographers. I reference it all the time. Amazon etc will have it. As for sites, try KenRockwell.com. I like him, straight talking kinda guy but lots of people dont.

I don't notice that problem personally but that's not to say it doesn't happen. UV is impt during the day as it does cut out glare on a sunny day that's noticable on the end result. Polariser of course is better on a sunny day.

I use Hoya Digital Pro or B+W on all my L. To be honest, if you compare the two together side by side, B+W wins. As for results from actually taking photos. I see no diff. Jessops' filters are essentially Hoya but the lower end range. Kenko is Hoya - it's the Asia/Japan branding where as Hoya...

i agree with raymond. i'm not sure the ones posted here were your better work. i personally like pj style so i prefer your pre wedding ones and the more natural shots just after the church. the 'posed' ones are a bit stiff but that's hard to do but will come with experience. i've done a few...

Lens pen cleaning - from 7daysshop. Great for quick clean (lens not sensor) i mean. Kingston or Trascends are both great alternatives to Sandisk.

My VESA bracket just arrived today. No time to put it up though.
