It is very messy inside, but enough airspace to keep everything cool. Yes, I did swap the side panel over, it was better for routing the wires to the mobo from that side. Will post a pic later this weekend, just dont judge me for inside :)
Thanks to everyone here, I finally got my Prodigy M system built. First time in a long time I had put screw driver to components. Have to admit, a bit nervous and somewhat daunted by the prospect, but I got on and built away.
Specs:
Prodigy M white case
Gigabyte Sniper Z77 M3
16gb mem

From what I have seen the 160mm does fit with most single GPU cards, as long as the mobo gives clearance. Best thing to do is spec the length of your new GPU to be sure. If it is below 11.5 inches, then 160mm will be a squeeze but should be fine.
I am happy to give it a measure for you in my...
Will do. I went with a BeQuiet 730w as it was 150mm and covered the power for SLI. I also went for a water cooled setup on the CPU. As soon as I have it set up, I will let you know how it goes on temps and airflow.
Hello, really sorry to hear that you are having these problems. I used to own that laptop and found that the following can help. Disabling fast start up cleared up the usb thing for me and turning off hibernation. The wifi, i updated the drivers and that cured my issues with that as well. The...
Only just bought a pair of 7950 to power my 27" monitor at 1440 :( Cant really drop them for a high powered single GPU after just 1 month of owning, that would hurt. Although I can see your point.
Darn you Prodigy M for being a case I like the look of so much. Got to try and hope I can make...
Okay, changes to spec (thanks for input so far):

Nothing to say sorry for, nothing at all, these forums are always helpful:)
I am quite set on the prodigy M case (asthetics - i haz shame for admitting!!). I forgot to check the PSU dimensions, thanks for the spot. From waht I have read, 150mm would fit with room, but I will need 650w to power...
Phew....lot's of reading, research and not a little bit of help on the forums. This is my draft build...anything I am missing?
Case: Bitfeinx Prodigy M http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-142-BX

Watercooler: Corsair Hydro H80i...
Yes i am, speccing a build for a Prodigy M case and have not built a system for well over 15 years....eeek!!
I have a i5 2500k processor that has never been oced in my current rig so was looking to reuse that if I can. That mobo seems to be a great fit.
Really appreciate it. Thanks :)
Hello,
I am wondering if there is a good mobo out there that will fit in a Bitfenix Prodigy, support Crossfire and an Intel socket CPU LGA1155? Trying to not upgrade the processor.
Thanks,
M
Hi,
Totally tried to spec a system for myself and realised I was all over the place. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, and I only have a little and seemed to be buying everything and then nothing...eek!!
Would anyone be so kind to spec me a system?
I have the following already...
Oh thanks, that really helped. I have the HIS GPU with the blower style cooler (one's that you linked to:)) My RAM is just standard DIMMS with no active cooling above them. Dont know if that complicates it at all.
So from what I can see, water would actually be louder, but allow higher clock...
