RAM memory faults can cause almost anything to happen. Usually blue screen crashes but generally your system will be unstable.

Somewhat worrying. I put a Titan X in on Thursday last week. I had my first lockup in a very long time indeed last night. It was in Farcry 4 although it was during gameplay. I haven't had lock-ups in anything else so far and I put it down to either bad luck or the graphics driver.

I also had Farcry 4 freeze on me, a few mins ago actually. Never happened before. Perhaps the latest Nvidia drivers? i980x 12gb EVGA Titan X etc..
