You can get a A770 for £260 but its only the 8gb version. I think around £250 for the 16gb version would be about right as agree it is a touch too expensive. Saying that i have been very impressed with the one i fitted, stable as a rock, no coil whine and good performance.

Well just an update, installed and running great and no coil whine to be heard.

Just put a Asrock A770 in my friends pc and no noticeable coil whine and it has been solid as a rock so far.

I am using a Thermaltake 500 sat on a piece of 10mm perspex on the floor and it draws in very little dust through the bottom fans, would not worry too much about it.

Lost count but well over 20 in about 20 years of building. Now on a Thermaltake Tower 500, best case for my needs so will be keeping a good while yet but do like the look of the Lian Li Vision and the Hythe y70 Touch.

I had a similar problem with my Asrock Phantom Gaming B550 motherboard where the usb devices would disconnect randomly, i move a couple of the higher draw devices to the front usb ports and all seems fine now. Might be related to power draw on the rear usb ports, try using the front case ports.

Hi all have the chance to pick up one of these cards cheap and was wondering if things had improved as i know the drivers were very poor at launch but not sure now. Anybody got first hand experience or just in the know.

I have the 500 version, the best case i have ever built in.

Will do, think the 3060 is the perfect card in this build.
