I got one last Saturday and it arrived with 1.0.5 (The latest firmware for download from their website is 1.0.4) I bought mine on impulse without doing loads of research. Its not silent but I am more than happy with it and I have not felt the need to connect the fans to my motherboard or replace...
Soooooo is the email I got saying £1509.98 binding? :p Sry couldnt resist, Titan 8700i Pulse is more my price range anyway so it is bit of a price bump to get red goodness.
Sooo the Gainwards were allocated to someone else but I took delivery today of 2 EVGA Signature Editions. (Sry OC but you showed them as in stock when I ordered) Strange how them showing up on Friday afternoon is perfect timing for some bank weekend testing...and yes I did start wearing the...
It seems I have been drooling all day for nothing:confused:
Card1 = Order Status: In our warehouse queue

I was considering a triple slot card, followed by......Geez boss I didnt realise it wouldnt fit....
Actually, how long are these....maybe there is still hope?
Not mine to sell, tomorrow I will unbox them, sniff em...maybe a lick or 2 and then they will be doing about 250 nano seconds of molecular simulations a day. Pfff
Although maybe I can ask my manager if we can sell the Quadro 6000 and Tesla c2070 that these are replacing, joke. Althought it...
I just ordered the last 2 Gainward 690's...........for work
Nooooo! How can I justify keeping them for a while? haha. The sad truth is I dont even have a decent enough pc to plug them into for a play.
We had an extra HP Z800 workstation but then they employed a postdoc so...
OH life can...
If £122 is a big spend for you then you cannot really afford a PC that goes along with a £478 GPU can you? I think his point was valid so why the sarcastic response?
On the discussion of 5970 + 480....wouldnt 2x 480 be better?
Im not discussing value...(I run a 5850) just curious as I honestly dont know the answer but would have thought someone would just get 480 in SLI if they move in those circles?
Plenty of goodies in the box :)
"There's plenty going on in this board's bundle - Aside from the card itself we get a paper manual, driver CD, download link to Sapphire's Redline tweaking utility, vouchers for both Battleforge and DiRT 2, one Molex to six-pin and one six-pin to eight-pin PCI...

So having snooped around to figure out what I need to do I find that there is a new patch which works with the latest Nvidia driver and physx...

Overclocking is well worth it. Did a quick search for i7 930 reviews as they would be more current but are basically the same as 920.
