I bought my Noble Epic at the end of May last year. The PU material on the base was already cracked by December. The seams for the side bits on the base are also now torn.
Raised ticket with OcUK at the end of December for a replacement base. Still waiting after many, many, months of asking for...
Just to answer my own question, I think the H100i GTX is compatible.
However, thinking about it more, I should just be able to reuse the same backplate anyways, no matter which of the Corsair coolers I put on it.
Does anyone know what other coolers Corsair have that are compatible with the H75 bracket?
Preferably I am wanting to know if the H100i is compatible. (I don't want to take out the mobo for the backplate)
Sounds like the pump is dieing. Thought it was just air bubbles but tried suspending...
Just been looking at the Bitfenix Pandora. Actually a nice looking case.
Looking to find out more about the placing for SSD's. Theres a bay at the bottom which looks like it houses 2x 3.5" drives with a 2.5" screwed to the side of it.
That is a nice build, although the issue I have is that I have yet to find an itx case which I like.
The reason for this current build is portability as I frequent many LANs. It also has to look good. Carrying my current setup is becoming a chore.
99% of the ITX cases I can find contain stuff...
Good suggestions.
just looked at a review for the cooler. It runs quieter and cooler than than H100i. I might be able to drop the Noctua fans from the build and save a few £££'s.
Been about 4 years since I last did a fresh build and now it's making me itch.
Just looking for some input on this current build. I can't see much else to do, but always looking to see what other people might suggest.
CPU: i7 4790K
MOBO: Gigabyte Z97MX (mATX)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB...
Have you considered a NAS? Although these are limited on drive space and can get expensive.
Here is something to get you started. This is from a basket which I have recently made for my own server build. Although I admit, this may be a little extreme for yourself.
The HP microserver is...
2008 R2 currently meets my requirements. However, this may also be a virtual machine to allow more flexibility although some hardware may need to change to allow this.
Yes, I have considered one of those in the past and the 3TB drives. I am looking for the best density of storage, with value being secondary. My current server is already at 10TB which means the 5*3TB will already be mostly full when it is complete.
Compactness for me isn't as much of an...
The only RAID will be with the OS in mirrored. The rest will not be changed. Each drive will represent its own space. This will allow for future changes and negate any wasted space from striping/mirrors (it is only media which can be re-acquired if a drive fails).
The SSDs were more of a...
Getting around to replacing my current home media server as it is showing its age when it comes to supporting larger drives.
The basic plan is to allow for the maximum amount of storage space in a reasonable sized case with the ability to add more in the future via a SATA PCIE card...
I have an nvidia 460 768MB version, is it still possible to SLI it along with a 1GB version? Tried looking around the nvidia site but couldn't find the list of compatible GPUs which could SLI together.
just underclocked mine back to default. will ramp them up then use OCCT to check. with factory overclock it resets the driver and shows errors. default works fine.
