Recently got dell xps laptop, very nice but been finding it a issue connecting to TV. What do i need as HDMI cables i tried dont fit the port on laptop, yet it says HDMI ? Also the thunderbolt port i hear very quick but what cable could i use from that to TV? Any help be great cheers

ive got the dell xps 15 1080p and the screen is very good, i looked at the 4k one and what made the factor was the screen was very shiney on the 4k and at times couldnt see properly in daylight, while the matte finish was clearer. also battery life aprox 1-2 hours more.

Update looking like il be keeping thus pc as it is other than ssd upgrade and windows too. Due to work il probably get a decent laptop and use that as gaming platform, still prefer pc exsperience but doesnt suit job so laptop route now ehere im going. Cheers though, definitely will keep eye on...
