    What book are you reading...

So the actual trilogy is: Wool - Book 1 Shift - Book 2 Dust - Book 3 The link you have seems to be just stories of the silo so maybe extending a characters history or a side story, when I read the Wool trilogy, I read the three listed above, these are the main trilogy books. Looking at this...

    EPOS Gaming shut down

First few minutes of this video he reads out the statement from the parent company that owns EPOS: Seems they have suffered a down turn since the lockdowns etc and decided not to proceed with the products and just offering warranty for products already out there for now.

Learner driver - any point in manual?

That's cool if they are changing quick for the vans etc :) I am guessing that's what I am saying though, if you only had auto test under all your drivers going forward and then you get a manual on site, it can't be driven. Personal preference going forward these days though can cover for both...

Learner driver - any point in manual?

If you can do the manual test its probably better, as others have said, it can rule you out of some jobs as there aren't many automatic work vehicles that aren't fleet cars. If you do a manual test you can drive both. If you just do an automatic test, you can not use a manual car.

What is your favorite daily pocket friendly ball point pen?

Like yourself I use the Parker Jotters with the replacement black fine refills. If I go into the office then I use a cheap BIC Orange Fine Point (0.8 mm), if someone five fingers it then its cost me about 18p as I buy em in bulk.

    2022 small city car suggestions.

I was looking at the Polo GTi but got this for ~17k new from the factory, all the extras bar auto climate as a car this small doesn't need it, within 5 weeks as another customer cancelled the order, so I haggled hard. The Polo was a 12 month wait. I took the Up on a bank loan, sold the 5008 paid...

    2022 small city car suggestions.

Since working from home and barely driving now, I got shot of the 5008 and jumped in a 3 door Up GTi cheap to run, you can boot it all the time and still pull 50mpg and fun on the B roads :) Pretty much this but in a 3 door instead of 5: I'm 6 foot, stocky build and there is still masses of...

What Linux Operating Systems do you like?

Mainly virtualise my Linux machines but I use: PopOS as a sort of daily driver/Dev OS Fedora 36 as I was testing it out and good to keep with a rpm distro etc Kali for dabbling when playing and learning. PopOS is a really good stable distro, might become more popular with System76 apparently...

    * The Comic Book and Graphic Novel thread *

I had a similar issue, toggled the settings and it was on, I think if you double tap on the screen it zooms back out. If not it might be a pinch in and out to get it back. I don't have the iPad charged atm so I can't check this. EDIT: Just checked, its double tab on the panel and it should zoom...

I am also after the same one with the 1440p 165hz panel but OcUk don't seem to stock it as yet, I was going to ask in the customer support section to request it but it shows as private and I can't access this. Not sure how to ask OcUk if they are getting this model in stock.

Decided to put Ready Player Two on the back burner and started reading Chernobyl Prayer: Voices from Chernobyl by Svetlana Alexievich. Only just started it, heavy going but fascinating so far.
