    "Won" This on eBay Yesterday

Yep the bearing is a hub replacement - think i sourced two rear ones for under £20 each. the part is the same part as used on the focus so that's a bonus, in terms of availability and mass production savings. Yeah the Euro4 has the worse of DPF's from what ive read, but I dont know much about...

    "Won" This on eBay Yesterday

Same money... but equal risks, its had a fair amount of miles and could have a nest of DPF related costs which would need to be resolved to drive it, granted not a huge amount of money, but I would rather take the one with 60k less miles on it.

So things to consider on these, (knowing since I own one) Look for Air in the clear fuel lines, could just need a filter change and re-prim(of which they do not have a primer) but it could be the pumps on the way out. 120 amp Alternators tend to fail, look for 150amp version. Check...

What have you done to your car today?

Driving the v50 to work yesterday. Lost boost presure no turbo spool at all at any rev. Shut the car off and startex it again and it was fine for the rest of my commute. Really strange, looks like I need to spend some time cleaning the trottle body and ultimately egr delete needs to happen.

Commuter Advice - Is My Logic Right?

Curve ball... my freind does a commute like this in a i10 lease car gets 40+mpg. Sure you could get pretty new on of them, with the rear seats down you have loads of room for mountainbikes. Wd got 3 in the back once.

    PureStorage

Thanks for your input. Noted on dedupe that's of worth note, but still obviously has overhead. Pre-failure is significantly better, obviously only in scenarios when it apples. For instance if you are writing more data per day than the SSD is certified for the unit will see this and...
