    Wind deflectors

Had them on a few of my cars so can have the windows open when it is raining or on hot days the windows are left cracked open. The previous ones went into the window groove and created a wind noise. The ones on the GTI are stuck to the frame and are silent. Really happy with them and don't care...

    Replacing a single tyre

Only main Stealers recommend to replace in pairs to get the gullible to pay more. No need replacing a tyre if not needed.

    Changing discs and pads

The electronic parking brake will be your main issue as you need to put the Caliper into service mode that winds back the piston mechanism. You will need VCDS,Carly or OBDEleven to do it.

    Your bad driving encounters

Absolutely honking down with rain yesterday and many driving with absolutely no lights on making them almost invisible in those conditions and yet again a couple of idiots with main beam on both Ford Eco-Sports strangely?

    Your bad driving encounters

No it is older cars Mostly with Halogens. Noticed Tesla seem to be the ones with lights that are too high, either that or they are set up for driving on the other side of the road.

    Your bad driving encounters

After years ago a few of us having a heated argument in the pub with a fellow bike who said he rides on Main Beam all the time for his "safety". I find many car drivers doing the same now and I am talking Halogen headlights with a separate Main Beam lens. Even a quick flash to tell them and they...

    Your bad driving encounters

Pure lazy nothing else, the same people that scrape a minimal amount off Ice from the front screen and nowhere else. What they can't see is not their problem.

Images of items I have purchased (except trainers)

Yes, we had it on an electric shower and the heating element couldn't cope as they restrict the flow. Got a "Normal" type adjustable shower head and the issue disappearance, mentioned it to our local plumber and said he would never use one of them or recommend one.

    Who owns a Golf GTD / GTI / R?

That was removed 9 years ago, one of the first things I did when I got the car new. It has done over 120k miles now so not too gutted.

    Who owns a Golf GTD / GTI / R?

Heater wasn't blowing hot air so did a VCDS scan and found the Heater Support Pump had failed. Didn't realise it was not running when I shut off the engine as you can hear it. Had it replaced and the heat was luke warm at best, one heater Matrix later and it gets hot inside the car as it should...

Snow chains or Socks for Tyres

    Your bad driving encounters

Well 5am this morning one car with near side front fog light on and nothing else. Another car with no lights on at all and both between two villages with no street lights. Then 3 pushbikes with no lights and all of them wearing dark clothing. Why are people so stupid nowadays and why are there...

    Who owns a Golf GTD / GTI / R?

My MK7 DSG failed at 60k and serviced at 40k as per the wet clutch schedule. The new box has been faultless (touch wood) but I am on my third Water Pump/Thermostat housing. Not sure if the latest TSI engines are still having the same issue.

Cause of two flat tyres at rear

Silly question probably but they are EV tyres they fitted as they are designed to handle the extra timber the EV has.

    Battery charging

Why does it need charging would be my first thing to find out. Unless you are leaving the car standing for long periods, is the Alternator faulty, a parasitic draw or the battery is old? Never had to charge a battery unless there is something wrong and fix it before the cold weather gets here...
