Cleaned the filter out, added filter start gel, put in new UV's.
Tested the water and it was almost perfect.
Removed the large net as not seen the pesky heron for a long time (fingers crossed).
Just the pond plants to sort then good for Spring :-)
For the last few years I have been getting premium growth and colour pellets from 'Orchard Fisheries' - had good results so far, water clear and not much waste from the fish (£50 for 10kg + £5 delivery).
Going to alternate this year between that and Hikari Gold.
Took a rose bush out of a pot and planted in the front garden.
Drained some water from the koi pond and refilled.
Tidied tools back into a toolbox from upstairs bedroom.
Got wardrobes built yesterday, just have the handles to put on.
Got radiator back ontothe wall.
Knackered now, gonna chill and...
Yup tried with the hose on, even with the jet head on, no joy.
Need to get it around the bend to hit the gutter, couldn't quite get it there.
Will slip the window cleaner a few quid to clean the leaves out :-)
Cleaned gutters out on garage (very full of moss slidden off the roof.
Got a leaf blockage on downpipe from roof, no ladders big enough to get to it, so tried feeding the garden hose up the downpipe.....couldnt get it around the bend at the top so a waste of 30 mins.
Caulked back bedroom.
Told...
Women eh.
My wife is always complaining that it is her that always cleans out the shower plughole, that ends up clogged with long blonde hair.
I have short dark hair and only 2 of us live here, now the daughter has moved out :-)
Another big day tomorrow, taking floor up on landing, putting insulation down and laying new floor (that doesn't creak lol), then architrave and skirting.
Still tweaking mine, 3800mhz 1t : FCLK1900:
1.53v for testing - cl14 / 9 / 15 /15
Will dial the volts back once finished tweaking, very happy with it so far :-)
Bedroom floor ripped up, laid insulation between all joists tonight (mainly as soundproofing, from the kitchen and snooker room below) - new floor going in tomorrow.
Aching muscles already, so not looking forward to it tbh.
