    Desktop 2.0 speakers?

Highly recommend the kef LSX speakers, the older pair are on for good prices in second hand forums etc, the sound is epic for the size and the bass is quite shocking considering how small they are. Get some good pads to decouple them from the desk though

Finally managed to get an ex-demo naim uniti core for ripping my CD collection There are much cheaper options, but I like the naim app, and the ripped CDs automatically show up on my Naim Muso etc

    Best multi-gigabit router

Oof did not know about the data privacy stuff, I mainly need this just for the wired connectivity as I have another isp for non work stuff. If they are doing this double gateway for monitoring activity that’s a no go, I should have read up. I thought with the cost it would be exempt from such...

    Best multi-gigabit router

Thanks gents, in the end I pondered whether I'd be slightly more future proofed with the Eero7 max, considering the TP Link offerings were a few months off I went with the Eero, seems to be working quite well. I have gone down the unify rabbit hole, so will probably make that switch at some...

    Best multi-gigabit router

So, Just upgraded to 2gb/s and the router options are quite dire in the UK, the options are the Eeero 7 @ £600 or a months wait for the TP Link Archer 800 Does anyone know of any solid routers with 2.5Gb/s ports + wifi for under £300? The Eero 7 does feel like overkill I will be using this...

    BRSK

Does anyone have the better net 2Gb/s ? - I am thinking of going with that, as I am completely remote and regularly on zoom calls and uploading recordings. Having spoken to them, they said their modems cap out at 1gb/s and I should get a Asus zen wifi xt12, I assume this will connect with the...

    What watch do you wear?

That is so beautiful, congrats! @IvanDobskey ! Wonder what Rolex will release this year, a new colourway for the Submariner is my guess.. but they would be better of relaunching the Milgauss with all the hype over Oppenheimer (Science theme)

    What watch do you wear?

@TheGamingGeneral I would get yourself down to Goldsmiths, as the Aurum group in general have been pretty good to me. I tend to go to the Liverpool one, though I live in Manchester, as they seem to get less footballer traffic. The GM there is a nice chap and they don't ask for deposits either...

    What watch do you wear?

Rolex AD's are just funny these days, feels like they have gained more power over the pandemic, but now scrambling a little as the market shrivels in the UK. When I was really wanting Milgauss before they went OOP I was advised I'd be looking at a years wait. Now I am not actively looking I get...

LG announces the 32GS95UE - worlds first 480hz OLED monitor

This is a great point, I had a Acer 32K 4K screen, and that did feel very much inferior, but it was a poor IPS to start with. I'll have to wait for reviews I guess, I am perfectly content with the c2 for now. Just need to get an arm for it. I do wonder if this 32" panel comes with all the...

LG announces the 32GS95UE - worlds first 480hz OLED monitor

Yet again looks like the UK is shafted.. this would be ideal, though I do kind of like my C2 42", and the newer versions dont have MLA right?

Post Your Home Cine & HiFi Kit...

I only had the Nait 3, so they were woefully underpowered for the 19s. I ended up with Roskan K3 which is warmer sounding and has a bit more heft. Indeed it was a bit forward even on the nait 3. I think when I can afford to I'll get the power series. Right now I have a Roksan K3I on the...

OLED users - do you have a second, non-OLED monitor?

Naim is the best sounding amplifiers I have ever owned. I had to get some none Naim amps for the ATC SCM 19, but I long for the day when I can own a Naim amp again. The sound really is like nothing like other amplifiers on the market.

    Asus ROG PG32UCDM - 4k OLED 240hz

Yikes, why gaming monitors lagging so far behind TVs LG should lean into the gaming series a bit more

OLED users - do you have a second, non-OLED monitor?

It's perfect for my job, I mainly do infrastructure diagrams, and read a bunch of legal papers so for that it's epic. Its only 60hz so keep that in mind but the colour accuracy is great and the PPI count is bigger than the c2, so it complements it really well.

OLED users - do you have a second, non-OLED monitor?

I have the 42C2, and am using the LG Dual UP in the below configuration:- Seems to work well, I do intend on getting a monitor arm for the c2 one day.. when the price is right
