What Virtual Reality games are you playing?

UEVR. One click download, download the game profile and import, one click injection when you've fired up the game. Teleport, i don't think so, but you can mess with snap turning i think. If you've seen the alien up close in isolation, that's the visual representation on show in fire team when...

What Virtual Reality games are you playing?

Aliens Fireteam Elite, best VR wave shooter you never knew about. Granted there's the in between bits, but oh so addictive. Only fired it up yesterday, already stolen both afternoons.

Worth upgrading? Quest 2 to quest 3 or Pimax Crystal for Elite Dangerous

As i suspected, the vertical FOV really opens up the huge glass frontage of the Vulture. There no black border unless you're uncomfortably straining you're eyes to the fullest extreme. Elite added to the feel good pile, along with the likes of wingman, truck sim and mechwarrior that benefit...

Worth upgrading? Quest 2 to quest 3 or Pimax Crystal for Elite Dangerous

One thing you'll apricate with the Crystal, the FOV. With cockpit and open screens presenting you with more of the skybox, everything is opened up more and a bit of a gamechanger. Id imagine that the cockpit in the Vulture really benefits from this, much like some of the big glass bottom open...

If there's 1 generation of gaming you could play forever, which one would it be?

Before i saw the backend of this thread with the 98/2000 PC era being called out, i was thinking it too. To be stuck in the era of early internet gaming, the whole clan, community, and lan party scene that surrounded it, yeah gimme that. Reads like legend when you roll call them out, Team...

Inter Solar 83 space based game.

Have it on this wishlist. I know it's a slow burn with this guy after Go For Launch, I'm happy to keep on waiting. Checkout the latest XWA Upgrade if you're interested in the clickable ship interactions, it's amazing how far they've come with that.

    Arcade machines in VR

Got around to giving this a go today, the amount of work this guy has put in is outstanding. Everything being out there, he's collated all the artwork, labels and attracts, and built a monster of an arcade with some custom cabs i think?. Surprised he's letting this one go for free, it could...

    Arcade machines in VR

New Retro Arcade: Neon has been a thing sine 2016. Works really well once you've customised the layout. If you have an arcade control panel, it's total immersion.

MechWarrior 5 working perfectly now, new mod+uevr preconfigured. https://www.nexusmods.com/mechwarrior5mercenaries/mods/1009 The mod adds the UI overlays, the map, mech status, comms, and loadouts to the physical internal consoles of the mech. According to them, the UEVR injector is a big...

You get better performance using OXR, and can mess around with the toolkit in games that don't crash with it active. With the Pimax open composite has far less hit and miss, i've been defaulting to that with uevr. Gravel would be a good example, it ran like a stutter fest with steam vr, swapping...

Tried a couple. Mechwarrior 4 checks out. It works and looks the same as the VR mod, with the added bonus of the dropship being in VR too. And the life sucker that is Pinball FX works, it's as good as the native titles minus the shiny extras they put around the tables. Probably have a lot more...

*** OcUK VR Sim Racing Thread ***

A combination of everything mate, i was never a fan of road cars either. Always considered regular AC a bit lite weight, the world scale, weight of the cars, a bit toyish. ACC came along with a more weighted grander scale, i was absolutely and have been for the last 4 years all over that. The...

*** OcUK VR Sim Racing Thread ***

Not much time with AMS, AC has killed nearly all interest this week. Had a go in the advance in a quick online race, one has to wonder why we aren't racing that instead. That's a machine where jumping on the power leaves you to a point of the edge of grip, it's not just an exercise in keeping...

Virtually non of the games the flat2vr group put out use m/k or a pad, discounting the Luke Ross mods that are a separate entity. There's an extensive list of the UEVR in this thread, i suggest joining the flat2vr discord for a full list of everything they do. I suggest people watch the videos...

*** OcUK VR Sim Racing Thread ***

I'm stuck in a toss up between AMS and Assetto having just started tinkering with the former. AMS really is all that when you catch it the right environmental lighting, the brightness and saturation of a mid afternoon overcast setting looks almost real in the Crystal. That said, maxing out...

    PSVR 2, anyone interested?

Flawless 90 frames on my Pimax Crystal, ground play and low orbital flight completely stutter free, zero dropped frames. I was shocked too, i made reference to my surprise with my initial thoughts on the Crystal. 14900k/4090/64gb 6400mhz/ Gen 5 Firecuda drives/dual loop. Expensive, but so worth...
