I upgraded yesterday, swapped my 3800x and dark rock pro for a 5800x3d and 240 aio, temps are 15ç lower during stress testing.

I managed to get the xt for 699 with a starfield code, the only way I found it palatable.

Running fine on my Pico I might even finish a play through, using virtual desk top, 7900xt

Mines up and running undervolted to 1010 and left everything else at stock, I have a 1080 ultra wide so no need to push further. Staying cool and quiet and I have the extra in the bag for when I get a 144hz screen.

Is the 7900xt 2 or 3 power connectors?

Elden Ring 9/10 played it through twice on the trot and stopped halfway through my 3rd run. Have never managed to get on with the Souls games before but this was a surprise stand out for me this year, i usually get bored near the end of a game and give up on it as something shiny comes out.

Tried the new version and it crashed twice, i was stable at 4.4 all core at 1.3V on Beta vesion.

3800x previously had it undervolted by 0.1, was getting 5024 multicore on Cinebench, the tool has set all core to 4350/4375 at 1.275 and im now getting 5200.

My CPU has better synthetic scores by leaving PBO off and undervolting!

I always aim for a 650W or higher PSU when building a system running at about 50% is the sweetspot. The 850W and higher are only needed for the highly overclocked dual GPU systems.

dragon centre is bad but its the best way to control the fans as the bios fan control is *****. The wifi stopped dropping out after the last bios update though.
