    Do you recommend any software? I'm running win 7 x64 so something compatible with that would be good as I just keep hitting brick walls

    Nice one, thanks. Mine are idling at 52 and 50*C with the fans off. So am now v.happy:D

    Nope not on water, just standard case and mobo fans. The reading is from speedfan, I also recall seeing it before but cant remember what software. must have got rid of it when I upgraded to Win7

    NForce 680i LT MCP Fan

    Was trying to reduce the amount of noise coming from my rig and found the MCP fan to be the main culprit. It makes even more noise if I turn it down. Would it be safe to turn off when the systems idling and what is a safe temp for it?
