OK, I don't have a lot to compare it to, but the PS Audio Sprout seems to be a mighty fine amp to me. Way more involving - ie I'm spending more time choosing what to listen to next, and enjoying it more. I'm still waiting for my Isoacoustic stands to come, so have high hopes for even more...

One thing about buying used is that you may be able to try at home and sell on for little if any loss, though keep postage costs in mind. Way better than a demo in a shop in my opinion..

Cheers acme15 ! I have Noctua fans as quiet is important to me and I guess they are pretty good... Air flow and heat are not likely to be a problem for me as my build will be pretty basic.
