It’s a 15 pro max. It wasn’t a good deal as there are no deals. It was depressingly expensive so I’m going to be keeping it for as long as possible. My parents bought me a new Apple Watch which required iOS 17 which forced me to upgrade. I wanted the telephoto camera so had to go for the pro...
That's almost too awesome. I don't need one, I don't need one...
Some stuff I probably need... more tools. A Koken impact driver and some Sealey torx impact sockets.
New laptop to replace my 10 year old Dell XPS15 as the old GT750M in it was beyond struggling. The 3070ti in this Legion 7i is faster than the Vega 56 in my desktop and the 12800HX destroys the old threadripper 1920x.
The bits labelled France with a diameter are all adapter rings from a cokin square filter set. The pola filter looks like a polarising filter for it. The big plastic bit is the square filter holder. Best guess is the A-series. No idea what the kenko adapter is.
Can confirm, I did not pay full price. I’m not bothered by having the latest & greatest, plus I’m upgrading from an old 4th gen iPad that’s knocking on 10 years old. This will be kept just as long.
I moved from an F5 to a D810 in 2015 and have not had any complaints in the last 7 years of using it. If you aren't bothered by the improvements made to live view and the menu interface/screen, there is nothing really wrong with the D800/800E either as I used to borrow an 800 before I bought my...
They go by a few names in addition to mini-ANL. I've seen them called AFS and AFC as well. I replaced mine with proper littlefuse branded BF1 midi fusible links which were better made. There is a considerable size difference in the fusible link size. (100A BF1 is similar in size to the 40A cheap...
I bought a Hikmicro IR camera last year with similar intentions plus I would use it for electronics repair. I chose it over the Flir TG165 due to the additional temperature range and higher IR resolution. (I got a good deal over black Friday, the current price is rather hefty)
It's been pretty...
Some more used tool bargains.
I wanted the 4 piece pick set but found this set for only a bit more than that would have cost
17mm combination spanner that was missing from my set.
A partial 1/2" deep impact set. I already had 17 & 19mm Facom wheel nut sockets so I'm only missing 13 & 14.
I'm pretty sure my brother has a 7200 and it's no contest, I completely prefer the 810 in all respects. I think it's mainly in video and live view AF where the improvements have been made. I rarely use video and if I do, I don't care for 4k as we still use 1080i in work. I almost only ever use...
