Anyone been able to get iCloud email working with the Mail App? Sepcifically the Sent Messages and Deleted Messages folders (or am I missing something - I had no issues changing the default folders to the proper ones in the Mail App in Win 8.1...) Thanks, Rich

    The Asus ROG SWIFT PG278Q – a 27” 1400p 144Hz Monitor with G-SYNC

Afraid so - started off with games (actually started off with some weird flickering), then that, then finally it would just do that all the time. Changing the refresh to 120hz worked for a while, then that gave up the ghost. I ended up returning, then getting an Acer 27 1080p @ 144hz. It's got...

    The Asus ROG SWIFT PG278Q – a 27” 1400p 144Hz Monitor with G-SYNC

Sorry to be the bearer bad news, chap. Mine did exactly that a few times before finally giving up the ghost a couple of weeks later. Hope yours doesn't go the same route, but suspect you've an RMA in the waiting. Incredibly frustrating. Amazing monitors when they work. Rich

    Asus Z97 Sabertooth - Mark 1 and Mark S

Not sure how useful this is, but I've got a MK2 version. Not very happy with it - USB (especially the 3.0) is very flaky. AI Suite doesn't install (if that's important to you). Planning on replacing mine with something else pretty soon. Rich

    The Asus ROG SWIFT PG278Q – a 27” 1400p 144Hz Monitor with G-SYNC

Bit of a rock and a hard place at the moment. I opted to go for an Acer XB270HA after returning and getting a refund for the Swift. Monetarily, it's the most sensible for me at the moment. The Acer is a bit 'Meh' to be honest. 1080 seems a bit 'cartoony' on 27 inch (compared to 1440), screen is...

    The Asus ROG SWIFT PG278Q – a 27” 1400p 144Hz Monitor with G-SYNC

To be fair -they've been pretty good with me (mine had all of the above, then went through a funky pulsing phase that made it pretty much unusable). Sorting out the initial RMA was a little slower than I expected, but as soon as I got talking to Bailey, it all went through really smoothly...

    The Asus ROG SWIFT PG278Q – a 27” 1400p 144Hz Monitor with G-SYNC

Yup - exactly that. Go back a couple of pages and I've quoted someone's post as mine looks identical. Same boat - OCUK have issues me a refund (to their credit, they arranged pick up, monitor arrived at theirs this afternoon and the refund was issued a couple of hours later). Not sure what to...

    The Asus ROG SWIFT PG278Q – a 27” 1400p 144Hz Monitor with G-SYNC

Hi, Just sent mine back for very similar reasons - think I've just been refunded (will check and thank Bailey in a mo). Try sticking on ULMB and at 120hz - that sorted mine out briefly (while arranging the RMA) but had hideous flickering (headache inducing! And I'm not sensitive to that sort...

    The Asus ROG SWIFT PG278Q – a 27” 1400p 144Hz Monitor with G-SYNC

I'm trying to sort out an RMA as well. Found that if you use ULMB mode at 120hz it clears up, but 1. there's flickering and 2. I didn't spend nearly £700 for this experience. So somewhat less than impressed. It's doing a funky new thing as of yesterday evening too...

    The Asus ROG SWIFT PG278Q – a 27” 1400p 144Hz Monitor with G-SYNC

Got exactly the same issue - Though not tried with the ULMB. Will have a look tomorrow at that. Waiting to hear what OCUK are going to do about it. Did you get yours fixed? Will be a real pain/issue if I'm going to have to RMA and stick around for a pick-up. Not even sure that's an option...

News on PMDG's T7 for P3D.... http://forum.avsim.net/topic/454122-25oct14-first-glance-at-pmdg-777-200-for-prepar3d/ Might have to start looking at P3D a bit closer (I've got 1.4 somewhere. Seemed good, just too many compromises at the time...) Rich

    NVIDIA GTX 970 OWNERS THREAD

Anyone got issues with 'clicking' noises under load (on the MSI Gaming)? I wouldn't normally give two hoots as I'm usually wearing headphones, but there's an equivalent noise coming through those as well :-/ It's improved now I've moved the sound card (Creative labs Recon3d) further away, but I...

    Silverstone FT03 Coolers....

Cheers - thanks for the heads up about that. Never really been convinced by the H60/80s etc - too many mixed reviews. How are you finding the case? Again, it seems to have mixed reviews? Cheers, Rich

    Silverstone FT03 Coolers....

Evening all, I've a real thing for the FT03 (currently have an FT02, but would like to downsize....). Haven't much I'd need to fit and am going mATX or mini ITX. I do have a Thermalright Silver Arrow, and would ideally still use that if it fits and still will keep all cool Anyone with...

Me too! -650fpm the other day... Didn't feel that bad - not sure if VAFS 5 is 'measuring' it right... Practice I suppose. Fun little plane though! Rich

Ditto - singed up a wee while ago and managed my first flight last week. The logging system is very slick and love the way it ties in with 'rewards'. The flexibility with aircraft is great too. You don't happen to know if compressed time flight is allowed (offline) with them? Rich

Going to check them out - I've heard about them from somewhere else (can't quite remember where) and they sounded good. Always useful to have a trusted recommendation! Great shots as ever Soya. Rich

I think any successful landing at EGLC is a good one! It's hard to keep the speed down with the steep glideslope. Rich
