check out xda devs for all you need to know on rooting. theres a program you install on your desktop (linux for preference, but works on windows) which literally roots ur phone in a few clicks. check out xda for the guide. or androidforum.com and lookout for guides talking about unrEvoked =)

Yeah because its been forgotten since the iPhone4s release =P If Apple hadn't acted like petulant children about it, it WOULD have been forgotten. But people tend to remember ''there's no problem'' > ''redesigned hardware'' ;)

rooting is well worth it, my desires battery life is stupid good with latest defrost (19hours 39 mins unplugged) and sitting on 54%

sorry completely forgot to list my specs lol. price £100-£150 but its flexible so its not to much of a limit. Uses, nights out, holiday stuff (think beaches, snowboarding, or city pics), internal house shots so fairly standard stuff.

using defrost froyo and the battery life is staggering! 25 hours unplugged with moderate usage and 30% left. im stunned, completely.

im think launcher pro should be bought by google and made the default launcher tool =)
