    Will i regret buying a 7850?

Not really no, in my experience, I currently own a 580, previous cards were a 560Ti and before that 4890s incl crossfire, the only issue(s) I had were with crossfire on initial release of a game, eg for the first week, best example I can think of was fallout3, when that came out the crossfire...

    480 GTX SLI upgrade?

Worth is very much a personal opinion What are you wanting from your system? How does it perform now? I presume youre looking for more gaming performance, but to answer the question accurately, what games do you play? At what resolution? What framerates do you get now? Both average and...

    Which PSU?

If you want to keep xfire open in future, whilst 600 would prob do it, Id prefer more headroom if it were me, Id look at 750 OCZ ZT Corsair TX XFX XX Theyre all modular and not much more, alternatively the Antec High Current reakky is excellent but lacks the modularity

    Computer Upgrade Time

The Corsair will be fine to power that lot RAM seems OTT though, especially if youre over budget, 8 gig will suffice most uses, and even if you need 16gig it can be had cheaper Not sure on SSD, as in I havent seen anything about the newer series as yet, need to read up, but the M4 was always...

Pass my sound to my amp via HDMI from my Nvidia 570 or via optical from Asus Xonar Essence STX?

as above, pointless having high end card if youre not going to use it, though with that being said not sure how many games will be able to make full use of it, so games may sound same over both, but for blu-rays and music then the STX is no brainer

    Advice on GPU + 120Hz

No, in a word, at least according to Anandtech, even a 680 doesnt hit 120fps til you drop the resolution to 1680x1050 (high settings), though as youve alluded to you may get more out of xfiring/SLiing but I still think youll struggle...

Im looking to upgrade. currently plan to stick with my low budget case, perhaps you can change my mi

Be aware the second one is mATX only, and not aware of many (if any) Z68 boards which are mATX so you may have to skip the Fractal

Im looking to upgrade. currently plan to stick with my low budget case, perhaps you can change my mi

Prob not, youre just linking to lots of competitors instead of one, just stick the name of it to be safe I'd say youre better getting anew one personally, something like the BitFenix Shinobi at £50 would be a good investment

    Help choosing a case!

Out of those, the Raven, though you may also want to consider the Corsair series (eg 550D) for a sleeker look, or maybe the NZXT Phantom range if you like the big n bold look

How much £ you need for a decent PC??

As I said, initial reports seem to suggest they clock higher with lower volts, POSSIBLY because the iGPU has been disabled there's less going through the chip (instruction wise) that's speculation on my part but if you do a quick google you'll see they do clock higher at lower volts Not a lot...

How much £ you need for a decent PC??

Yes the 2550K doesnt have the iGPU but I doubt anyone building a gaming system is going to miss it, also the few reports of the 2550K show it clocking higher on less voltage, possibly due to the absence of the iGPU (speculation not fact), plus its actually cheaper, so a chip with the potential...

How much £ you need for a decent PC??

Eh? Not even remotely, its worse Its arguable, the 480 has a bit more grunt, but not that much more, but produces a lot more heat and noise, I had this dilemma a year to year and half ago myself, deciding between the two cards, and I opted for cool n quiet over raw power As I said it can...
