How so? Its a very early build, its not using the final character models, there's no unit animation at all, no sound effects/music and there are placeholders everywhere. Its just to give a idea of the gameplay if anything. Plus it already looks good compared to the original spectrum version :)...

From 2nd Kickstarter update: Chaos Reborn - Prototype Gameplay with Julian Gollop Good stuff.

It seems he's well aware of the demand for a modern laser squad. (from here http://www.reddit.com/r/IndieGaming/comments/20w68j/hi_i_am_julian_gollop_creator_of_the_original/) So I suggest chucking him some $$$ for the chaos remake and once thats done I'm sure it'll encourage him to kickstart...

41% funded, over the initial rush of backers but still a good amount of time to go (and Julian should continue to get decent coverage in gaming press). Really looking forward to being able design and rule over a chaos realm. Also nice touch being able to get extra game copies for $15.

Backed, The original was pretty much the best spectrum game going, still play it now. Simple yet highly strategic. Impressed how active Julian has been in the comments section of the kickstarter. Hes answered most of the backer questions on there. Hes just posted that the first update...

I'm a fan of the original series and i'm loving this. Just watched episode 5 :D. Going to have a bit of a pause for cold showers/house move then get to watching the rest. Joan "The Freak" Ferguson will be turning up in season 2.
