Ermm forgot to mention budget for those who need to know, looking to spend £150, any more & I couldn't justify. Longevity kept in mind for future builds* EDIT: So far my research has turned up the Corsair 850W HX Modular at £120 which is not looking too bad?

PCI-e config = very hot cards!

My Crossfire bridge isn't long enough to test the difference in performance with my second card in the x4 lane but I have wedged a tooth pick inbetween my cards for the time being. This has dropped my temps by 10 degrees which will have to do for now. They definitely look awkwardly bent though...

Has anyone ever come across this before?

I'm curious as to why it takes a minimise to activate crossfire/the second card. I'd also imagine it to get tiresome everytime I wanted a quick game

Has anyone ever come across this before?

Ok so I'm on the latest Catalyst drivers & Cap, NFS: The Run, MW3, Deus Ex all run perfectly with Crossfire enabled. However having recently installed BF3, I only ever seem to run on one card. The strange thing is, I minimised mid-flow through the game, & found out when I returned my second...

    ATi driver experts

Just wondering & I may be wrong here, am I right in thinking ATi release their driver packs so that you can install new drivers straight over the top of old drivers? As in, no fuss of uninstalling old drivers, del files out registry etc just bosh install new drivers over the top & you're done?

PCI-e config = very hot cards!

Hello guys, I have just bought myself a couple 6850's for Crossfire. Problem is, the PCI-e config on my motherboard means my cards are pretty much on top of each other, allowing very little space between them. Below is a pic...

Hello guys I'm looking to upgrade from my MX518, can anyone recommend me a good gaming mouse? It's been a long time since I've looked into mice & I've been very happy with my MX518. Wouldn't want to be stepping over the £50 mark & I game at 1080p if that helps

    Calling all multi-GPU owners

Hello guys I'm looking to plunge into the world of Crossfire & just wanted to know whether multi-gpu's are worth the headaches of drivers, profiles, scaling, caps etc. What are your experiences? & please don't let the fact you've paid more for a multi setup sway your opinion, if its been a waste...

    HD 6990 Trifire/Quadfire - any issues?

Holy ****, I have been looking to upgrade my GPU setup over the past month & being quite an indecisive person, I've weighed up many options. Crossfire definitely caught my eye as it seems like a cheaper solution when it works, but since reading the posts in here I am seriously considering...

    Does anyone have a clue?

Oh good so im not alone, well Ive worked out it is in fact PB. I needed to disable PB in the game menu before joining non-PB servers and then no spikes would occur. Going to do some Googling around today but tbh Ive had so many issues with PB and CoD4 in the past I feel like giving up and...

    Does anyone have a clue?

I got a feeling its PunkBuster performing checks as I enter servers which causes FPS spikes, such a load of balls. But the spikes still occur in non-PB servers :S Does anyone know if MW2 will be using PB?
