    Platypus' Beginners Guide to Running

I personally don't bother carrying water on any runs that are less than an hour. Be careful with the camelbak as that may actually make you sweat more.

    Platypus' Beginners Guide to Running

I think your times, this early in your running career, are pretty respectable. You should be more than able to do a 43 min 10k in my opinion. Looking at your blog the main thing your running is missing is regularity.

    Platypus' Beginners Guide to Running

Final 2012 mileage total for me was 1832. I wanted to average 150 miles a month so was pleased to get over the 1800 mark. Haven't yet defined goals for 2013 but am already booked in for a few half marathons.

    Speed training - track reps

Sure I think the principle is fine but I would also look at doing sessions based on 400m and 800m intervals. Also I would generally look at running more, increasing your stamina will help with the speed as well.

    Food hygiene ratings

It's not just about how clean a place is its also about their practices in preparing and storing food. It really isn't difficult to get a high rating. Any place with a low rating really can't give a fig about what they are serving you IMHO

    Credit Report

Dont worry I'm familiar with scoring systems, I used to help write them for lenders. My point going back to the Op is that the score offered by people like experian etc isn't hugely useful as it s not used by lots of lenders, they calc their own. They are though a useful source of info on...

    Credit Report

The score experian shows you is their score. It's not necessarily used by anyone how you may want to obtain credit from. Many lenders create their own credit score based on the raw data that they obtain from Experian or Equifax. That said its a useful indicator of whether you are likely to be...

    BBQ Pulled Pork

Yep they're the ones. I'm a bit of a BBQ nut and actually have both sizes. TBH for small groups the 47 is more than enough. The 57cm is a beast I could easily get 6 7-8llb pork shoulders on that.

My wife is amazing so I am cooking her a meal !!!

Yeah I think it will come out tasting ok. The amount of sauce on it though has veered the cook towards braised pork rather than slow roasted which is your traditional pulled pork. Pulled pork with the type of rub that he's put on when roasted should come out looking black, I think he will lose...

It kind of undermines the rub though, it will prevent any decent bark formation and you don't need it from a keeping the meet moist point of view. The other thing for me is that BBQ sauce makes a good accompaniment to pulled pork you don't want to drown the meat in it. Good luck with the rest of...
