Thanks for your help guys I appreciate it a lot. I've learnt a few things about RAM with your help and researching it over the last few days.
I think i'll go for just 2 sticks of the GSkill Trident RAM... It's about the same price i had budgeted for RAM, i don't mind paying a little premium...
Cool I'll check that out, Thanks.
So 5600mh RAM is the safe bet? and all the higher Mhz RAM you need to fiddle the settings with no guarantees. The video explaining some things but it's not filling me with confidence in what to choose.
I read a review of my motherboard and the guy with 7200mhz...
Hi gents, I'm just building a new gaming PC and I need a little help choosing the last component for my build.
I have got an Intel 14700KF with an ASUS ROG STRIX Z790H Gaming WIFI https://rog.asus.com/uk/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-z790-h-gaming-wifi-model/
I'm trying to choose the fastest...
Might as well chime in seeing as MoH was a big part of my life, and still is my most favourite game.

Must have played a bunch with lot of you guys.. Medal of Honor was what got me into buying my first PC. If you want a 1v1 .... I'm still here...
We'd had our own Peregrine Falcons for a several years now living on the tallest building in Morden town centre, South London.
Would love to see one swoop.

Luckily on mine i have no dead pixels, no scratches (though the matt finish isn't the greatest), the bottom bezel looks really cheap plastic material.. But the only real negative I can find is there is a tiny bit on back-light bleed on the bottom left corner (50% brightness).. it is quite...
I have an LG IPS Nanocell TV.. Although it is much better than the regular LED TVs.... it does produce very good blacks, whites and vivid colours.. It's weakness is the FALD full array local dimming.. There simply isn't enough zones. You can see halo of zones on dark backgrounds and it doesn't...
I have a 1070 too and i don't think it's enough to run 4K especially at 144hz/144FPS.. I think some new AAA games you might even have a problem reaching 60fps. This type of 1440p monitor i feel is the limit of a 1070.. but it's definitely futureproof for the next gaming rig build.
Cheers for...
We really haven't much choice this being a UK exclusive for OcUK and sure i don't like this holding my money for a month before i even get the goods, but if i want it earlier that's what you have to do. At the end of the day as long as the monitor comes in good working order that's all i'm...
Nice one mate Thanks for the heads up.. I hope you (everyone) can get the BIOS thing resolved.
So presuming that everything is generally OK with no glaring problems pardon the pun, How is it to game on? I take it your old monitor was 60hz.. Does 144hz, 1ms (or thereabouts) GSync kick the ass...
Same... Don't give a crap about 16hz/21hz more than 144hz..... 60hz to 144hz is the already the major upgrade. Can't imagine there's much noticeable difference playing with 144hz to 160/165hz.
They've took the money, so now it's a waiting game. *bites nails frantically*
Haven't upgraded my monitor in 11 years.... I have this puppy preordered as it ticks all the boxes for me. So looking forward to this upgrade and so are my old eyes!
Eyes peeled on this thread. Thanks for the updates.
