Bored of bigassed PC, want a teeny tiny one (got a 360 for games these days).
I think I have all the innards I'll need, S939 4000+, gig of christmas tree ram, writer, couple of HDDs, X800 pro (PCIE)...
What's a slinky looking, reliable SFF chassis to plop this little lot in? I don't work...
16v every single time.
Better power right through the rev range. 8v is very dissapointing and flat at high revs.
16v look out for a crunchy second gear, rusty tailgate and rear light, sunroof drain and windscreen surround. Make sure it idles smooth(ish, they're all a bit rubbish)...
Both over priced; people have a habit of doing that with Dubs.
My golf is a much better spec than that and I wouldn't want anywhere near that for it.
My 16v makes 151 BHP with a few minor tweaks, although the engine is a hell of a lot newer than the one in there.
Naughty cams on a 1.8...
Mine gets pretty moderate use when I'm out and about so hoping it will suffice.
Already been offered £350 for it so if I hate it I'll get rid and grab a K900.
Just ordered one on my new T-mobile contract (sorry orange, not paying £300 for one) and I'm curious - what is the battery really like?
I don't use my phone a *vast* amount, probably 30 minutes of calls a day and a dozen or so messages.
I only tend to make long phone calls when I'm at home...
Local dealers/private that I can't see? Traders without websites? Anything newly advertised I may have missed?
Asking for a favour, not a pound of flesh ;)
...yes yes I know it's a daft car but he's stupid too and he wants one.
Budget is 21K, mileage must be 60 at the highest.
Needs to be black and a 3.0 for insurance (petrol or diesel fine, manual or auto ditto).
Some options would be nice and somewhere in fair reach of the south east...
My tyre fitter just bought one for 16k that had (literally) just had an inspection 2.
His is 2001 with 115k on the clock and virtually faultless.
He's budgetting 2.5k a year for maintenance; for him this is an economy car. He's used to a 350BHP Sierra Cosworth!
And I really, really don't like the way they look. I'm fussy too, I have looked at Hondas and I've decided that no matter how good they might be I couldn't live with that styling.
I would possibly consider an 1800 VTi Aerodeck for the stealth value, but I'd still rather have an A4.
Fords, Volvos - good cars I'm sure but I just don't like them. I'm a total snob and would die of embarrasment if ever anyone saw me driving one.
Irrational, but that's me.
Thought about a 20VT for the Golf but I'd kill myself and 2.5k is the tip of the ice berg.
I have seen on my way...
