MMC's were all the rage when I was at Uni 10 years ago!

as far as immature tech goes... I'd have classed Wifi untill pretty recently as immature technology - ie it does so much less than it promises.
I quit 3 months ago after smoking for about 10 years and again it hasn't been an issue because I wanted to stop for me , and no-one else. I did read Allen Carr's book , but i'd more or less stopped by the time I started reading it. I've also had some trying times since given up and havn't had...
I had one as a hire car a couple of weeks ago - the steering wheel took a bit of getting used to ( fixed hub ) - though I did like the way the whole rev counter goes red when you hit the limiter :)
rear visibility wan't up to much , but it seemed to hold the road reasonably well.
well I was quite happy with my 820 Turbo ,but it wasn't very standard :)
you did have to sail it round roundabouts , but it was quite fun ! You do get a fair bit of car for your money - I found mine to be pretty reliable and would still have had it as a runabout if it hadn't been broken into...
I know of a manual Soarer for sale , but I dunno if its in your mates budget. I'm told that the slushmatic is pretty good as slushmatics go though ( its essentially a 4 seater supra :) ) - if you dont fancy the TT , there is a nice V8 option too :)
blimey - thats quite a response , has restored some of my faith in people !
seeing a smile on a certain person face makes it worth every penny *fights back tears*.
I think you are missing the point. If it was your car, you could do what the hell you liked with it at your own risk.
As this was not being driven by the owner its a different matter.
I stand corrected - I'm sure it was an excuse used by muslims when my folks worked in nigera in order to have a sneaky drink ;)
I'm glad you agree on the 2nd point though - I think that if you choose to follow a faith ( which I dont ) you should follow all its rules , not just those that suit...
Correct me if I'm wrong , but doesn't the Qur'an advocate "fitting in" ie that if you where in a situation where it would be impolite not to eat non halal meat, it would be more sinful to refuse the meat that it would be to eat it as buy refusing it, you would offend your host etc.
I think...
started when I was on my year out in Toronto. I think the film Moby-Dick had just come out , plus I was listening to a lot of old Moby rave tracks and to cap it all off I was going to Uni in Wales
