That's basically exactly what I would suggest as well, except I'd say also consider an extra £50 for a 120GB SSD so you have a bit more headroom for installing games on it, but it depends how many games you generally have installed at a time.

Does cloning software do it properly? I thought if you did that then you risked not aligning the data into the SSDs pages very nicely, therefore neglecting to get some of the speed you should. Personally I would look at reinstalling Windows/whatever OS from scratch, but this is something I'm...

I tried with both, then one, then the other. Always the same result. I don't really wait before resetting. I put the disc in when its off then power it up as when I try to put the disc in when its on it just tells me it cant run the setup because I'm trying to install 64 bit from a 32 bit OS.
