As promised my 5870 packing PC has shipped today for Saturday delivery. Thanks Overclockers :)

Still saying "In our warehouse queue" for order OC887003 but that order is for a full system. I guess I can still dream that it might still ship on Friday for Saturday delivery (Wonder if I will get the free copies of Dirt2 and Battlestations Pacific ;) )

I suspect the real thing it can bring is a better sense of immersion in a game. It's all to easy to have a sense of immersion shattered when you notice that you're character isn't interacting with the world in a realistic way. Accurate physics processing offers one way of improving that...

If the wait is a week for a pre built system that seems rather at odds with the quoted 48 hrs. "All systems are built and installed on demand and usually ship within 48 hours of the order being placed."

Rather annoying that I ordered a PC with a 5870 on Sunday when they listed cards in stock; but according to the reply to my webnote they now don't expect to get any in till Thursday or Friday making a Saturday delivery of the assembled & tested system seemingly unlikely :(
