    Fear of Flying Courses

It's now a 45 minute flight I think. Were there many people who were terrified? I'm perfectly fine right up until the plane leaves the floor! It's £255 so it's quite steep but I think I'm going to give it a go! Are you there all day? It says that most courses go from morning until early evening.

    Fear of Flying Courses

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I appreciate it. :) It just seems so unnatural, but I'm determined it overcome it!

    Fear of Flying Courses

I wouldn't say I have any particular fears apart from the height. As soon as the plane's off the ground I'm a nervous wreck and then as soon as I know we're landing I start to relax more and more the lower we get. It's crazy! I need to do something about it though, I've already missed a...

    Fear of Flying Courses

Hi Has anybody ever been on one of the courses designed to allow you to overcome a fear of flying? I have been looking at this one: http://www.flyingwithoutfear.info I flew quite regular as a child but I have developed a huge fear now, which is mainly due to my fear of heights. I'm just...

    Disable Automatic Screen Lock

Sorted. It was putting the computer to sleep from the settings in Energy Saver and then asking for a password from the settings in Security. I was getting them confused as assuming that it was a screen lock. Thanks for your help :)

    Disable Automatic Screen Lock

Hi I'm having a problem with my screen lock and I wondered if anybody can help? I'm using an early 2011 MBP, running Lion 10.7.2. I have Screen Lock 2 which I use to lock my screen but there is an automatic screen lock that comes on if I use that MBP unused for a number of minutes. How...

    Parallels 7.0 for Mac

Hi Does anybody know if you can get a student copy of Parallels 7.0? Also what is the difference between the full version and an 'upgrade' apart form the price? Would I only be eligible for an upgrade if I had a previous version of Parallels? Or maybe there is some virtual software...

    Time Capsule

It looks as though it's always been backing up as the option needs to be selected if you do not want it backing up. Thanks for your help :)

    Time Capsule

Hi Does anybody know if Time Capsule backs up applications along with documents or just documents? Basically I'm running Parallels and I want to make sure that the OS I'm running through Parallels will also be backed up. Thanks.

    Screw too tight in MBP

    Good idea, I'll do that.

    Screw too tight in MBP

    That'd be the one.

    Screw too tight in MBP

Possibly, but they shouldn't of screwed it in so tight to begin with. I'll make sure I ask them about the price before they do any work. I can't imagine a new screw would cost more than a few pence. It's quite frustrating, it was supposed to be a 5 minute job to change the RAM.

    Screw too tight in MBP

Does anybody idea how much they'd charge? I take it they'd do it there and then or will it need to be sent off?

    Screw too tight in MBP

Yeah, I mean that the screw head is getting in a circle shape instead of the cross shape. It's not too bad but it's not the same as the screws that came out easily so I've not gone any further. Judging by what people have said on Google it should be quite easy to sort and Apple are generally...

    Screw too tight in MBP

It's not (thankfully), it's one of the small ones that slot in to the corner. I've had a quick Google search and it seems as though they've had quite a few problems with the screws cross-threading easily. Hopefully they'll fix it for me as I've only had it a few weeks, so it's slightly annoying!

    Screw too tight in MBP

The screwdriver is the right size as I've managed to get all the others out with no problems at all. It just seems far too tight and won't budge at all. I've made an appointment to take it in to Apple so hopefully they'll sort it.

    Screw too tight in MBP

Hi I'm after some advice as I am not sure where I'd stand on this. I'm trying to upgrade the RAM in my MacBook Pro, but there is one screw that is too tight to be removed. I have ensured that I'm using the correct size screwdriver but I don't want to try further as the screw is starting to...

Syncing BlackBerry and MS Outlook for Mac

Hi Can anybody advise me how I go about this? I've downloaded the BlackBerry Desktop Software and managed to back up my BlackBerry, but it won't sync my contacts and tasks with Outlook for Mac. I've had a look on Google and there used to be a program called iSync that allowed you to...

Best E-mail Client for Mac OS X

Thanks. That's helped make them less obtrusive but I know on previous versions I used to remove them all so I just had Mail and Calendar showing. It's only something small, but I like to have it set up just as I like!
