Only because it will run like crap on my card. I wanted to play red dead redemption 2 but thought my system would struggle with it at 1440p so I didn’t bother getting it.
Hmmm, big conclusion you jumped to there.
I posted because nexus said that a game is being released that you cannot disable RT on, so it will run like crap like the rest of the RT games on mid range cards, so I won’t buy any game currently with RT ( managed just fine so far without it ). Simple...
Or people can choose not to buy the games with RT, like I do, it’s funny I have had 2 raytracing capable cards but I have never played any game with raytracing in it. ( except the quake 2 demo ) and that was enough to put me off.
You would basically need a £500 card to run at 60+ Fps, I...
Sometimes when a certain setting is enabled it greys out your colour settings.
This could be anything like,
Gamer modes in your OSD or HDR being enabled.
I would turn off other settings 1 by 1 and this might enable the colours to be changed.
Love my 3060ti, by the time I need another card to play the games I will be interested in I would probably just get a PlayStation 6.
Great value for money card 3 years ago and if you don’t play new release buggy raytracing games 3060ti / 3070’s will last quite a lot longer.
In any context the...
Thanks for your input guys, I’ll try to get sky down to £20 just for the broadband as we don’t watch sky tv anymore so not paying for it after October 8th. Definitely don’t want to join virgin though brcause in April I would get an estimated rpi 3.9% and some other price rise to do with...
Contract is ending next month with sky and I Was going to join VM but there network seems flakey at peak times and ping times are a bit high for my liking, Sky only do fttc 80mb at my property but pings are 8ms so may as well stick with them.
Mine is a VA monitor, my perception of the lower fps looking jerky might be my 3060ti not coping with settings turned up but I am sure if I had not gone up to 144hx monitor my games would be maxed out at 60 fps and I would be none the wiser.
Any game higher than 80 fps is lovely and smooth...
A Friend had a gigabyte 3080ti he paid £1400 quid for during covid from a massive uk retailer online.
He had temp hotspots and fans ramping up for a while and decided to rma hoping they fixed it.
Gigabyte sent the card back and it wasn’t even opened to look at stating the card worked fine.
He...
Just seen virgins new deals with volt o2 sims can be increased anytime mid contract and it’s written in their contract so there is nothing you can do in the future, double sting.
Glad I’m happy enough with 80:20 fttc from sky, but bt are working in my area currently doing fttp.
Lower than 80 fps on my 144hz lg monitor looks like it’s skipping frames with vrr on or off, tried fixed refresh rate at 60hz, 72hz, 120hz or 144hz, same.
Anything over 80fps is fine.
Some information on your actual connection speed would help as it may not be your Wi-Fi but slow internet speed into your house…
Are you on full fibre, or 80/20 fibre to the cabinet?
Btw I am on sky 80/20 and Wi-Fi is good for our older 3 bed house.
