id get a i7 860 if he was doing photoshop work and a 5770 incase he ever wants mulitple screens to work on (plus they dont use much power)

i think its best to spend as little as you can without affecting performance so you have some money to upgrade later on :cool: i would get the i5, because everyone seems to forget that power isnt free ;)

sry to post another thread about this but does the one of overclockers.co.uk support 1156 socket now? because it has the part number CWCH50 and on the cosair website: http://www.corsair.com/products/h50/default.aspx it says part number CWCH50 supports LGA1156 but the overclockers...
