Yeah I am using the a SATA cable that provides both power and data, it also has a Molex that comes of off it. I assume I don't need to plug that in? I have not tried swapping it with another drive yet and it is plugged into one of the six red SATA ports. I should try a Marvell port?

I have hopefully solved the issue. I spoke about having a sata drive that was not bring recognised all of the time. I went ahead and disabled it last night and instantaneously things went back to normal. Hopefully this has done the trick.
