Try disabling "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" in your Network Card's settings as this can cause issues similar to what you're describing.
I agree with what a few other posters have said. If it's just happening on Chrome it suggests that a Chrome extension is proxying your connection via Australia. Incognito mode seems to disable extensions which would be why it then displays correctly.
Well QoS might not even help depending on what's causing the issue. If they're maxing out the download on your line having QoS on your router isn't going to do anything because you have no control over the inbound traffic.
You can just say no when Preston asks you to be the General and it stops the questline and doesn't give you any more missions. I find the game much more enjoyable that way because I've always hated the settlements.
I think it's because the cargo system in this is more complicated. In Trains and TTD cargo doesn't care about where it goes so the stations just share one pools of cargo. In this they have a set destination so they have to be assigned to a line.
There do seem to be several options mission...
Honestly the game doesn't do a great job of explaining how it all works. It's much more complicated than TTD and I had to a do a lot of experimentation before I found out what works and what doesn't.
Buses on their own won't generate any profit. What you need to do is build a train line between that city and another and then use the buses to transport passengers to the station. Remember that you will also need a bus service at the other end to take passengers from the station into the town...
I think this is the thing I like the most about this game compared to TTD. It forces you to actually build transport networks where as in TTD you could make a ton of money with completely separate goods routes since you didn't need to complete the chain the make money in the long run. Enjoying...
Is it better to use full load for cargo or to just use normal load orders? I seemed to find that using normal load orders increased the production since the train wasn't waiting for ages, but maybe I was just using too many train cars. Does the frequency affect production?
Tried to play this last night but it crashed twice trying to load the tutorial and once it did load I was getting a few graphical issues. Not sure if there's something I'm missing but I was also having issues trying to get junctions to work properly.
Will give it another go tonight.
I would avoid Draven like the plague unless you're a very good ADC. It's not that hard to get the hang of catching your axes during the laning phase but it becomes a complete nightmare in teamfights unless you're positioning and kiting is on point.
I'm not sure how anything you just said is relevant to the bizarre comparison that smoking weed is the same as being in a bad mood. I don't know how anyone who has ever smoked weed could say it has anywhere near the same affect on you.
Well he has a choice. He either continues to park there and just accepts that he's going to be forever arguing with his neighbour or parks a couple of metres down the road and saves himself a ton of hassle.
Pick your battles IMO. Sometimes being right isn't worth the stress.
After Empire and Rome 2 I'd never get another Total War game on release. Both were totally unplayable on release anyway so I could have just waited for them to be on sale.
