    ***Intel i7 4790K Owners thread***

Hi guys, I'm pretty new to overclocking (had a i5 2500k that I literally pressed the "gimmie more hertzz" button and boom), I got an i7 4790k, the mobo is a ASUS Gryphon Z97 Armor Edition (Micro ATX) and it's being cooled by a H100i. atm I get around 25c on idle (could probably get it cooler...

    Mini/Micro ATX Build

Hello, I'm looking to do a Mini/Micro ATX Build, I'm not 100% sure on what it entails and if I can use some of my existing stuff that's in my PC already like the power supply, GPU etc. I'd also like some advice about which is better but I basically just want a small form PC for space reasons...

    Dual Monitor issue

That option doesn't seem to be present in Catalyst Control Center anymore :/ I've been able to "fix" the issue by moving the monitor in CCC and on the displays options as well, but I ideally want to know the proper fix if there is one.

    Dual Monitor issue

I recently got a BenQ GL2460 yesterday, plugged it in and everything works fine across both monitors. When I turned my PC on today there is a black bar going down the right side of the GL2460, it's like the display is cutting off at that point. When I turn on the monitor normally and it comes...

    Small Upgrade needed

Okay, so I'm taking the SuperFlower one mentioned above, and that cooler you mentioned Idleman. I am very under budge so is there anything else anyone can recommend on upgrading or will I just be throwing money away for the sake of it?

    Small Upgrade needed

The controller wobbeles inside it so I have to prop it up with a bit of card. I could just keep the case, but I'd still want to upgrade the CPU and maybe cooler instead.

    Small Upgrade needed

I might want to xfire at some point but I don't see a need for it at the moment. Its an antec one I think, but it doesn't slot in well and the screws don't line up with the case, so it either sits with a 1cm gap inside or out.

    Small Upgrade needed

The fan controller I bought has a very loose fitting, it's a 5.25 one but just isn't sitting right, I haven't tried another one. The PSU isn't a modular one which is what I'm wanting to upgrade it for. I guess I could keep the case and risk another fan controller though. I have a Corsair Hydro H60

PSU won't work on one PC but works for the other.

At the moment I haven't, but when I was first building the PC with the other PSU it was all a clean install with a new mobo and it didn't boot then.

PSU won't work on one PC but works for the other.

So I just got another one, and spent a bit more for the 750 as I know a few people that suggest it, this new one nowbdors the exact same. It also works like the other one in a lower spec build. A friend of mine has the same mobo as me with a very similar build and has no issues.

They are the same power, I've now tried the PSU with the mobo out of the case and it does the same thing.

PSU won't work on one PC but works for the other.

I have just purchased a EVGA 650G, when I plug it into my upgraded build the fans just spin a small bit and that's it, my old corsair 650tx works fine in this PC. The EVGA works in a new low spec PC I've built straight away without issues. I'm currently replacing them again to see what the...

    New motherboard recommendations

I'm needing to replace my current mobo to complete my upgrade, my specs are as follows: CPU: i5-2500k @ 4GHz GPU: Asus 7950 Mobo: Gigabyte P67A 16 GB Ram The mobo that I have is a bit to small for my GPU at the moment, it covers up to many SATA ports so that only two can actually be...
