I almost bought a treadmill earlier this year from one such scam website which looked genuine. It wasn’t until I went back to the page a couple of days later to place an order to find the website was taken down and some research into that led me to find out the whole thing was a scam.

I’ve got a 1070 Ti which I’d be happy enough to stick with until next gen but I’ve already promised my current rig to a nephew for his birthday in July. I honestly thought I’d have a complete new build ready for myself by Christmas. Heck even the O11 XL case I fancy is rarely in stock.

I think at this point it’s best to put my hopes in a 3080 Ti being released next month.

And at my current rate of posting it’ll only take me another few years to get my last 50 posts in for access to the MM.

Just noticed the price hike. No point preordering at 14:00 now then.

I was debating the 3090 until I realised I would be just as well getting a 3080 and then a 4080 for the same price. Plus I’m pretty sure 10 GB VRAM will last me on 1440 ultra wide as that’s only about half the pixels of 4K.

I just wish the reviews were out already to compare the noise/heat between the AIB cards and FE.

The £750 Gigabyte one looks quite good but is the fan really worth an extra £100.

It’s the 10 Gb 3080 I’m worried about. I’m pretty sure the 3090 might be too rich for my tastes but I don’t want to spend a fair amount on a card that only has 10 Gb either. I might have to wait for a 3080 Ti unless the 3090 is ‘only’ around £1200.

They say it’s the greatest generation improvement Nvidia have ever made. Let’s hope so.
