according to the destruction manual all 4 of the 3pin fan headers can do speed control. (Asus p5ke-wifi ap) think i'll just plug it into the psu, and get some damping material for the case. all this BIOS adjusting etc is too much for my feeble brain.

what i mean is, got the controller you mentioned, and it only seems to work if plugged into the mobo( doesnt seem to work if connected directly to the PSU) and if i dont have the fan controls set in the BIOS then all my fans are really loud in my case. but if i have the fan speed settings set...

sorry to double post. if i have fan speed controls set on my MoBo, if i set a certain fan to "ignored" in the Bios, does that mean it wont be affected by the speed contols?
