That's good to know with regards the mods, I did dabble with them a while back for Skyrim & so may take a look for CP2077. May go with the Steam version then even though its more expensive & I've never really used gog bar for freebies.

Also had my eye on this for a while. Probably a daft Q but would if be worth paying extra to pick it up on Steam rather than Epic? Think ill just be going for the base game due to lack of gaming time these days but never say never about picking up the DLC.

I also had an email from Blizzard offering it me for £35, is this worth picking up or wating for it to appear on Game pass (assuming it will at some point). I enjoyed the previous Diablo games but the price & only being a very casual gamer these days due to lack of time had put me off initially.

Thanks for the advice Drumroll. I have just checked my fan speeds from my GTA session & the gfx card peaked at 1787rpm & cpu fan at 1254rpm. I have 2 extractor fans set on the same curve as the cpu, 1 at the back of the case & 1 on top.

Sounds like I am best waiting until I do a full upgrade then I can be sure everything fits in the case. As long as those temps are ok (CPU high of 67c & GPU high of 66c but a hotspot at 79c) then I can hold off I guess. Will test some more games/longer time to see if it goes up any higher.

sounds like my setup is ok for now but any new upgrades would need a new case then. I guess it could be worth holding off until I do a full upgrade & then get the bigger case to be sure everything fits in nice with plenty of space rather than squeeze it into a corsair 4000d would you say?

Yeah the corsair 4000 case looked a normal sort of size that I'd like to stick to. I have just had a couple of hours on GTA online & monitoring my temps on HWMonitor I got a CPU high of 67c & GPU high of 66c but a hotspot at 79c, not sure if thats acceptable or a high level?

I was hoping to keep to a smaller case if possible eg 450mm deep rather than these newer larger cases. Any recommendations on additional fans? I'm not fussed about rgb on the front just want it to keep things cool & not be too loud.

I've been thinking maybe I should get a better case for air flow, my I have an i5 9600k with a regular air cooler & RTX 2070 super card. I have been looking at a Corsair 4000D case but maybe I should get one of these new bigger cases like the 5000D for future upgrades? I wont be buying a 40xx...

Just picked up Cold War on PS5 having not played a COD for a while I was wondering whats with the version number (assume its that) in the top right of the screen? Can this be removed?

Been looking at getting this, any thoughts on if its worth getting the complete or just going standard edition? Season pass 1 looks good but season 2 dosent seem as interesting.

Does the steam version still load into origin when you launch it? Would prefer to just go steam but prices seem better on origin

I suspect the issue is it needs some new thermal paste on the gpu. Its gone back for repair today and I have since picked up a new card which is working fine so issue is definitely with the card. Will see how the repair goes, cheers guys.

Thats strange you only get it in one game. My issue seems to be as soon as the card gets over 70c is fans at max, I've contacted MSI suport who have told me that the fans will spin faster at 60c then slower at 50c, I went back to them saying it was fine until around 70c, their reply was use...

72c running at 1440p 144hz... fans go straight to 3400+rpm

Just formatted the PC but same result, fire up PUBG and fans max out straight away, quit game & fans go back to minimal/idle.

I have an MSI GTX 2060 running on a gigabyte z370p mobo and i5 9600k cpu. Whenever I load a game the fans on the gfx card spin up to max over 3000rpm. If I set a profile in MSI afterburner it seems to get over ruled by something and the card goes from quiet to airfield mode, any ideas? I have...

I think the M.2 drive should be fine, I upgraded about a year back but kept my original hard drives so now thinking they maybe worth replacing especially the 1tb mech drive as its almost full hence why I am considering a 2tb hybrid or just throwing an additional 1tb ssd in there.
