I haven’t, but the fact that the 2200G, which has done nothing but sit in a box since working fine for the BIOS update, has the same issue does give me some confidence it’s the motherboard. I do wish I had another AM4 board to test it in to be certain though.
I bought the board from...
Quick update to this. I tried clearing CMOS again. How nice of Gigabyte to put the CMOS battery connector under the VRM heatsink! No dice though. Tried the PSU in another system with a GPU that draws comparable power at full load. That’s fine. Tried the RAM in another system which also works...
Thanks for the quick responses. I’ll try clearing CMOS now.
At this point the graphics card is definitely going back as I don’t trust it at all and the seller has since confirmed it was used for mining. It was cheap so seemed worth the gamble, but I should have listened to my gut and bought...
Hi all, so I’ve come up against a rather frustrating issue and I’m running out of ideas. Last week I put together a new PC with a spec as follows:
Ryzen 3200g
Gigabyte B450-I Aorus Pro Wifi
16GB Corsair LPX 3000MHz
EVGA 450W GM SFX PSU
Crucial MX500 SSD
I had to update the bios with a borrowed...
I'm also using D300>Camera connection kit>iPad (1st gen) and haven't had any problems with plugging the camera straight to the connector via USB.
It might be worth checking you have the USB settings set correctly, MTP/PTP seems to work for me...
Got a distinctly mediocre entry in. I've been stuck at home over the past few weeks so I thought I'd turn the tables and take a shot of the camera I used for the rest of my entries, especially as I'll be deserting to Nikon next year .
You guys like pictures of camera gear right :D
Nice pics! You've done well to use your access and get some unique angles.
I like 2,3 and 4 the best, great sense of scale on the 4th shot!
You've certainly made the most of a great opportunity, looking forward to seeing the rest of the set. :)
In other news: I now 'like' you on facebook :D
+1
The number of times this book is recommended makes me wonder how many of those have actually read it and how many are just recommending it because it seems to be the universal beginners recommendation on many photography forums. Either way, Bryan Peterson is in the money :D
EDIT - For the...
Interesting... I did think of using the last shot of the colour set, but I didn't feel it fitted the theme as well. I also considered the 4th one from the second set too!
I may yet change my entry tomorrow, I'd be interested to hear some more opinions.
Haha, I never even saw that!
"There's only one way to change government opinion on this issue..."
"Mass synchronised yawning!"
With that in mind are there any others from this set or this set (or indeed from anywhere else on the site for that matter) that you would choose instead? (no...
The E-P1 is very good for video in low light, better than any camcorder I've owned (most recent of which being a Canon HF200)
I tried it out for the first time at a gig last night and was blown away by the quality, I used it with a 55mm f1.8 m42 mount mamiya-sekor (110mm equivalent on the E-P1)...
Totally his responsibility to ask before purchasing, and anyone buying a DSLR second hand should know this. He's trying it on, you shouldn't refund him. Besides, 40k is hardly a high shutter count...
As the owner of an E-P1, I'd say the GF1 is probably a better camera, it's definitely got an edge in autofocus speed and I also found the screen to be clearer. The reason I bought the E-P1 was mainly because I got it for £250 with the kit lens, which was almost half the price of the GF1 at the...
