The hardtail is a size up, as he was outgrowing the Full Sun Canyon. Also, he wants to ride to school and this attracts less attention. The old bike is on eBay and will sell for more than the hard tail cost.

Oh, and not forgetting A new hard tail for him to ride around the streets on :)

For me it’s about reducing the local level pollution - the stuff we are breathing in from exhausts. Go outside, do a ride/run/walk where traffic passes by, or just following an ICE car in your own car, is enough to make me feel sick/trigger asthma
