Unfortunately the motherboard is an old socket 939 so no luck there. Would need to be a motherboard, cpu, ram and gpu.:( But cheers though.

Yep, its just a single core with 2gb RAM. I was hoping that I'd get away with just upgrading the GPU but realistically thought it would need a major upgrade. Was just looking for other opinions, so cheers for the reply.

Exactly. I've been looking for a new phone for a while and whittled it down to the Desire or Legend. The looks and feel of the Legend combined with the guts of the desire would be perfect. .....but I've decided to go for the Desire. Just need to chose a supplier/tariff now.

I'd go for 2 of these. :D I've seen the standard version in the flesh and its gives a real nice picture, so this should be better. All these great offers!!!! Looks like my flexible friend may soon become brittle. :D
