I think this is a friendly warning for people to read their PSU documentation. The stickers they put on the side of the PSU that says what the maximum load across each rail is actually means something. if in doubt ask.

No need for any extra software, just plugged in, it detected there was a new device, installed the latest nvidia drivers, updated the global profile and it works. I have since installed the optional gigabyte software utility though as it allows me to change the colour of the LED's :D

no hacks at all, very nearly plug and play, I only needed to update the nvidia global profile to external gpu as default and then it kicked in for everything. I'll put some pics up when i get chance, I might see if i can do a mini review and start a new tread. I'm not sure who this product is...

depends if you have the money available, only you can decided the value of £220 to you. some people see it as a lot some don't, so 20-30% extra performance maybe good value if you can afford it. It maybe that saving the money now, will let you have a better monitor in march? In 2-3 years time...

The model they are sending you, that mini itx version is the most basic 1060 6GB (i have it), you'd at least want them to stump up the SC model (P/N: 06G-P4-6163-KR) to match your 780ti SC, or ask for the FTW edition, if not that a basic 1070 :P
