Every (serious) reply in this thread has spoken in generalisations rather than about the linked story itself. And the generalisations aren't even right.
Only around the time of the Arab Spring we had the story of Coptic Christians protecting Egyptian Muslims during prayer:
A sneaky (and very old) way of doing this without permission is to include a link to a small unique image in the email, and if you control the server the image is on you can check when the email is viewed by checking when that image was requested from the server.
A lot of email providers...
I'd imagine it's done in PHP, so that when you request the information within by clicking on it, it logs this request and who you are via your session, and prints this as 'Viewed by...' data to everyone else.
I don't find it that useful as no-one's ever complained to me for not replying...
Not really.
Didn't really want to call attention to it as I normally like Mag's posts, but that attempt was pretty crap. I've heard good Famine jokes before but this registered as something unfunny made up on the spot just to arbitrarily mention a 'bad-taste' subject.

Would link to...
It would help your case so much if you just got over yourself even a little bit when talking to others.
I know it must come as a shock that people in a footballing subforum might express opinions on football and their reasoning for holding that opinion, especially to an undisputed expert like...
That's still a chance you're taking though, and worse still it is a chance you're taking with other people. Even if our hypothetical queue is 100 people long, that person that shoved at the back is either doing so at worst in complete ignorance or at best on the baseless assumption that the...
I think nearly all of the points made in this regard did not address fault collectively. Certainly anyone actually killed or harmed by the crowd are beyond reproach as to receive their injuries they would have had to have been near the fringes of the pens, and not near the rear of the crowd...
I think it's more accurate to say human beings, but some posters have painted themselves into ridiculous arguments because of well-intentioned defence of LFC (which, as mentioned, wasn't always 'in vogue').
